This is a great light-hearted book for any Star Wars fan. Covering all of the various dangers of the galaxy far far away. This is not what would normally be viewed as a straight reading book. The information is provided as do or do nots, lists, and infographics. This makes for a book easy to jump in at any point that interests you.
I would recommend this book to Star Wars fans who enjoy a more in depth view of the universe. It helps make the universe feel more real. There is information on clothing for the climate, shelter and food from your survival kit or the locals. You’ll also learn of the dangers of travel, both in real space and hyperspace. Learn the uses and perils of advanced technology, whether it be the Death Star, or a power surge frying your astromech. You can also learn about the social minefield of politics and various cultures. If you run into trouble there is even information on escape and evasion. Finally the book closes with information on the various creatures you may encounter.
