Interesting answers to questions no one asked. From the author of XKCD comes an advice book that is the perfect example of “technically correct”. All of the solutions to the problems posed could theoretically work, and are backed up by the numbers and research provided, but are definitely on the far end of reasonable. Despite the absurd nature of the solutions this is a great read to learn a little about how to solve problems regardless of how out of the box the parameters of the solution may be. In some ways this could be the perfect example of how “showing your work” can help to prove that your answer is correct. Recommended reading for all science and engineering fans out there.
